The Wedding Mayhem Podcast is a refreshingly honest talk show, featuring wedding professionals who both know their way around the wedding industry, and are well thought of in their respective feilds. 

So you can imagine that I was genuinely thrilled to be invited to appear as a guest, especially knowing the calibre of wedding professionals who’ve appeared on the show before me. It’s a podcast that speaks plainly, intelligently, and with real experience — so being asked to take a seat felt like a genuine honour.

The episode was hosted, as always, by Sharon, who created a warm, relaxed atmosphere from the off, alongside Paul — a celebrant you may recognise as someone I’ve had the pleasure of welcoming onto my own podcast previously.

Between them, they struck the perfect balance of insight, curiosity, and good humour, making the conversation feel more like a lively industry chat than a formal interview.

We covered topics such as what a wedding host actually does, how I first got into magic, and how those two worlds naturally collide on a wedding day. There was plenty of general wedding chat too — looking at flow, people, pressure points, and guest experience from a hosting perspective — and yes, there was some wonderfully surprising live magic along the way as well, because it would have felt rude not to.

After recording, Sharon very kindly sent this message, which genuinely made my day:
